The three were found unconscious in a car while they were testing it in a “chamber” at the plant in the southeastern city of Ulsan, according to a union official.

Two of the workers were Hyundai researchers involved in car testing at Hyundai’s No.4 factory, which is the company’s biggest manufacturing facility, a local police officer said.

The officer reported police and the labour ministry were investigating the incident.
