As is customary, luxury houses and ready-to-wear brands develop new collections exclusively for the Middle Eastern market during the sacred month of Ramadan (the fasting period estimated this year between March 11 and April 9, 2024, according to Muslim federations). On this occasion, numerous labels are offering their vision of modest fashion to cater to local demand.
To celebrate the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (the feast day following the last day of the month of fasting, marking the breaking of the fast), London-based fashion label Stella McCartney has introduced its exclusive “Rose” capsule collection.
This limited edition collection seamlessly merges modesty with contemporary flair, drawing inspiration from the brand’s iconic silhouettes and its summer 2024 runway collection. The capsule offers pieces in rose or black, crafted from surplus stocks sourced from previous collections to reduce the use of new materials and minimize waste.
Â
Included in the capsule are satin pajamas, asymmetrical cape dresses, and caftan-style dresses, all adorned with the brand’s distinctive S-Wave monogram. Prices range from 650 euros to 2,500 euros.
Complementing the attire are handcrafted accessories made from vegan materials by Italian artisans, including crystal versions of the iconic Falabella Mini and Tiny tote bags, phone cases, chain wallets, Falabella satin loafers, and crystal-adorned Elsa mules.
The capsule is available at select Stella McCartney boutiques and retailers in Dubai, Riyadh, Kuwait City and Doha.
Meanwhile, the Parisian fashion house Christian Louboutin has unveiled an exclusive collection inspired by “the bonds forged in the comfort of a welcoming home”.Â
Â
Infused with Louboutin’s signature red overlaid with sapphire blue, the capsule features the Mira Von and Loubi54 clutches, along with several pairs of Hot Chick Sling and Hot Chick Sling Moucharastrass 100 stilettos. These shoes, crafted in golden and blue mirror effect calfskin, pay homage to the moucharabieh (a latticework partition used in palaces and homes), and are adorned with Swarovski Crystal strass. Also included in the collection is the Mariza mule, available in blue or silver.
Â
For the men’s line, offerings include the Adolon Junior sneakers in Electric Suede or Moucharastrass print and the Dhabubizz mule.
Notably, this collection introduces Louboutin’s for children for the first time. Prices range from 808 euros for the Dhabubizz pair to 4,548 euros for the Mira Von clutch. The capsule is already available online and in all Middle Eastern stores.
The Italian fashion brand Max Mara is joining the Ramadan celebration with its special limited edition collection. Embracing a countryside-inspired theme, the collection features vibrant colors like yellow, bright orange, and purple, reminiscent of a field of flowers or an English countryside garden.
This elegant yet simple wardrobe comprises 28 pieces, including fitted dresses, tunics, loose pants, and a casual pajama set, all available in multiple colors.
Â
Each garment is meticulously crafted with contrasting piping, discreet jewel buttons, and handcrafted embroideries, accentuating the attention to detail.
In addition to ready-to-wear, the collection offers pouches, scarves, and silk serge mules with floral prints. Prices range from 295 euros for a silk square to 3,492 euros for a caftan-style silk dress.
Cos
Cos, a subsidiary of Sweden’s H&M, is celebrating Ramadan with a limited edition women’s clothing collection. Presented in two parts, the first installment recently launched online, with the second to follow on March 12.
Designed for everyday wear, the collection effortlessly combines style and comfort, with elegant pieces suitable for special occasions such as Eid al-Fitr celebrations.

Â
The collection is available in-store at Dubai Mall, The Avenues Mall in Kuwait, and online on Gianvito Rossi’s e-shop.
