British ethical beauty brand The Body Shop has expanded its fragrance offering in India by launching a new perfume line named ‘Full Flowers Collection’. Inspired by botanicals, the new line features four fragrances comprising ‘Full Rose’, ‘Full Iris’, ‘Full Ylang Ylang’, and ‘Full Orange Blossom’.
“The Body Shop is the first in the industry to redefine the parameters of beauty,” said The Body Shop South Asia’s vice president of marketing, product, and digital Harmeet Singh in a press release. “For us, beauty means self-love and confidence. We have endeavoured to go beyond traditional standards and help our customers embrace their unique selves and adorn their bodies with products that reflect their virtues. This new collection is crafted by blending notes, and the scents evolve after application. It delicately reveals each unique feature one by one.”
Each perfume in the new line retails at Rs 3,995 and they have launched across The Body Shop’s brick-and-mortar stores across India as well as its e-commerce store for the country. As part of the brand’s commitment to sustainability, the perfume bottles are made from recycled glass and the caps are made from naturally renewable wood and cork.
“Each fragrance is composed around the luscious scent of a responsibly sourced flower extract: Rose absolute from Grasse, France,” said Singh. “Iris concrete from the south of France. Ylang ylang essential oil from Madagascar. Orange blossom absolute from Egypt. Each bottle of this range is the perfect blend of fragrance, beauty, and responsibility. Made with 90% ingredients of natural origin, this fragrance collection is also certified by the Vegan Society. The ingredients are sourced responsibly and are absolutely free of any chemicals.”
