The Ayurveda Co has reported 300% growth over the past 10 months and is working on research and development to further strengthen product expertise. The brand also plans to expand further into Tier 2 and 3 markets to reach more customers.
To date, The Ayurveda Co has raised Rs 100 crore in funding and plans to fundraise for another round in the next six months to facilitate further growth, the brand announced in a press release. The brand currently counts over 120 stores spread across India with outlets in cities including Mumbai, Bhopal, Indore, Delhi, Chennai, and Bengaluru among others.
For its next round of brick-and-mortar expansion, The Ayurveda Co plans to focus on more stores in Tier 2 and 3 cities to reach wider customer demographics and tap into the growing demand for branded personal care goods in non-metro locations. States where The Ayurveda Co will open new stores include Gujarat, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh among others as it also continues to expand its online retail presence.
The Ayurveda Co retails a range of colour cosmetics, face washes, sunscreens, and other beauty and personal care goods, all made using Ayurvedic principles. The brand was founded in 2019 by Shreedha Singh and Param Bhargava, who also founded Khadi Essentials in 2019. The brand featured on popular entrepreneurial television series Shark Tank India 2023 and the brand has enlisted celebrity Kajal Aggarwal as its brand ambassador.
