Tata Group affiliated brand Taneira has opened its 50th store in India to date in Delhi’s Connaught Place at Palika Bazar Gate. The 1,800 square foot store was inaugurated by Taneira’s CEO Ambuj Narayan and houses it’s the brand’s full selection of women’s ethnic wear.
“This is a momentous occasion for us, and the journey till the 50th store has been exhilarating,” said Taneira’s CEO Ambuj Narayan, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “With this store, we bring to the city of Delhi an intricately handpicked array of Indian weaves, where each strand embodies the magnificence of India’s rich textile heritage. Delhi, a vibrant metropolis, with the dynamism of a cosmopolitan hub and affinity for deep-rooted heritage provides the perfect canvas for our vision.”
The new store is Taneira’s fourth in Delhi so far and is designed to highlight India’s weaving tradition and how the brand is contributing to its preservation. Inside the store, handloom sarees, ready-to-wear kurtas, and occasion wear for women and girls are displayed across the bright and spacious outlet.
