Tata Group has opened its first Zudio store in Palanpur to bring its total number of stores in the state of Gujarat to 72. The new exclusive brand outlet retails Zudio’s full range of men’s and women’s western style value fashion and accessories.
“Happy to announce opening another Zudio store at S9 Imperial at Palanpur, Gujarat,” wrote DRC Multi Project Private Limited’s director Rashmi Patel on Linkedin. S9 Imperial is a mixed use development site in the city.
The new store has a spacious, white interior, punctuated by mirrored columns, local vlogger Mukesh Modh shared in a video on Facebook. As the store focuses on value fashion, large signs showcase garment prices and the store also features large scale posters from recent collection campaigns.
Zudio has a strong retail presence in Gujarat which includes 25 stores in the city of Ahmedabad, India Retailing reported. The brand also has a retail presence in other, smaller cities in the state including Anand, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Gandhdham, Gandhinagar, Godhra, Jamnagar, Mehsana, Nadiad, Rajkot, Sanand, Surat, Vadodara, and Vapi.
The brand announced earlier in 2023 that it plans to open 130 new brick-and-mortar outlets this calendar year. Tata Group launched the Zudio brand in 2016 with its first store in Bengaluru and today counts 453 stores across India.
