Tarun Tahiliani’s men’s ready to wear brand Tasva presented its first ever runway show at Bangalore Fashion Week. The brand showcased its new ‘Dinner Jacket Collection’ which offers refined traditional wear for modern Indian men.
“Tasva’s runway debut at Bangalore Fashion Week 2023 marks a significant step in redefining Indian fashion, celebrating the fusion of heritage craftsmanship with modern design,” announced the brand in a press release. “As Tasva continues to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity, the brand resonates with fashion enthusiasts worldwide by seamlessly merging Eastern and Western influences.”
The collection was inspired by the rich nature of Indian culture, according to the label. Occasion wear ensembles featured Resham, Aari and Dori embroidery techniques and tailored jackets have been crafted to allow for ease of movement.
Tarun Tahiliani launched Tasva with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail with the aim of offering a mix of heritage design and a modern attitude. The brand retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store and brick-and-mortar stores in cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, and Mumbai.
Bangalore Fashion Week ran from August 24 to 27 at The Oterra in Bengaluru. The 24th edition of the fashion week ran in association with Wear.Style.
