Superkicks partners with Budweiser for limited edition t-shirt line

Multi-brand sneaker and streetwear retailer Superkicks has collaborated with US beer brand Budweiser to celebrate 50 years of Hip-Hop. On August 25, Superkicks launched a collaborative, limited-edition t-shirt line featuring specially created graphics.

The Superkicks x Budweiser collaborative t-shirt line is designed to celebrate the past and present of the Hip-Hop genre, Superkicks announced in a press release. The brand has launched white t-shirts with graphics referencing the history of Hip-Hop music, mixed with both Superkicks’ and Budweiser’s branding. The brand chose white t-shirts due to their prevalence in the Hip-Hop scene.
 
“The deeply rooted and era-spanning genre of Hip-Hop is turning 50 this year, and we couldn’t be more excited about it,” announced Superkicks in a press release. “The culture that we are in and the community around us is both influenced and inspired by the genre and the subcultures and trends that it has birthed, whether that be sneakers, fashion, our language, or even our beliefs. Not only has Superkicks been championing the Indian hip-hop scene since the brand’s inception, but we’ve kicked it into a whole new gear with new IPs and push to put the spotlight on independent Indian hip-hop artists.”

The collaborative collection is designed to affirm Superkicks’ commitment to supporting the Hip-Hop subculture in India and engaging with its customers. One graphic shows a classic style turntable and the other is a fictional album cover and the line has launched on Superkicks’ e-commerce store and in its brick-and-mortar outlets.
