Skechers collaborates with Kanika Goyal for Lakme Fashion Week debut

Skechers has partnered with designer Kanika Goyal to showcase a streetwear collection for its debut at the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI.

The collection will be showcase on Day 3 at the iconic Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

With this collaboration, Skechers has entered the fashion apparel market in India and plans to further expand its fashion portfolio in the coming months.

Commenting on the collection, Rahul Vira, CEO of Skechers Asia Pvt Ltd in a statement said, “We are excited to unveil our new streetwear collection at the Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI for the first time, as it sets the stage for collaborations in fashion for Skechers in India.”

Kanika Goyal added, “I am excited about my collaboration with Skechers where I’ve designed Skechers’ first-ever streetwear capsule collection for India. The collection, Retroverse, is an amalgamation of Skechers’ iconic style with a more contemporary design aesthetic, creating a unique collection that rightly resonates with the Indian market.”

The Skechers streetwear capsule collection for men and women will be available on the brand’s website and retail stores in India.
