Simpli Namdhari’s holds farmers’ event, expands personal care product selection

Completely vegetarian, multi-brand personal care, groceries, and lifestyle retailer Simpli Namdhari’s held farmers’ events at its Hebbal and Yelahanka stores to celebrate their work and highlight the benefits of natural produce.

“‘Choose Goodness’ campaign on the occasion of ‘Kisan Diwas’, farmers raised awareness on cultivating fruits and vegetables to customers, offering them a unique perspective into how food makes its way to the table,” announced Simpli Namdhari’s on Facebook on December 28. By hosting local farmers, the business aimed to raise awareness about ethical produce and to connect manufacturers with consumers. 
 
Shoppers in the participating stores got to try out planting seeds as they learnt about best practices and how produce is farmed, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. Simpli Namdhari’s pursues ethical sourcing practices and aims to educate shoppers on how and why to support farmers’ livelihoods.

Simpli Namdhari’s has also bolstered its multi-brand selection of personal care products for the winter season, the business announced on Facebook. Shoppers can choose from international brands such as Nivea, Dove, and Cetaphil as well as Indian brands such as MCaffeine among others. 
 
Simpli Namdhari’s has expanded its brick-and-mortar footprint this year to enter new cities. In March 2023, the business opened its first store in Hyderabad and announced its plans to open between three and five more stores in Hyderabad by the end of 2024.
