Shopsy launches wedding store, sees top category page visits double

Flipkart’s value fashion and lifestyle platform Shopsy has launched a storefront dedicated to weddings to engage shoppers in Tier 2 and 3 cities. Resulting from this, the business has seen customer webpage visits double for its top category products.

Shopsy has witnessed the highest customer demand from the states of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and West Bengal on its wedding themed storefront with its top shoppers located in cities including Salem, Medinipur, Bhagalpur, and Bankura among others. The business also noted that shoppers aged 15 to 34 focused on products which had a variety of deals, Shopsy announced in a press release.
 
The business saw the greatest increase in webpage visits for its apparel, beauty, accessories, and gifting segments with hits growing twofold. Jewellery on Shopsy’s wedding store is priced from Rs 45 with the aim of attracting as broad a selection of customers as possible. 

“With the launch of the Wedding Store, Shopsy enabled cross-cultural buying, giving users access to an expanse of fabrics and designs,” announced the business in a press release. “Products like Shararas and Kanjivarams were bought across various states, thus offering the customer a great selection at affordable prices.”
