Shoppers Stop’s beauty business SS Beauty has opened a new store in Terminal Two at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. The store retails a multi-brand selection of cosmetics and personal care goods with a focus on premium and luxury labels.
“Bengaluru now has a new beauty destination,” announced SS Beauty on Facebook. “SSBeauty is now at T2! Our exciting new store offers an extensive range of fragrances, skincare and makeup. Explore top brands like Dior, Lancôme, Atkinsons, Kiehl’s, Laura Mercier, and more. Elevate your beauty routine with us!”
By opening a store in an international airport, SS Beauty will be able to connect with shoppers from across the world and experience high levels of footfall. “Elevate your beauty experience with a universe of premium and luxury beauty brands,” wrote Shoppers Stop’s chief business development officer Deepak Yadav on Linkedin.
Shoppers Stop launched in 1991 as a chain of department stores with a focus on fashion and lifestyle goods. The business has been increasing its focus on India’s fast growing branded beauty market and plans to open between 15 to 20 new beauty stores for both SS Beauty and brands it has the licence to retail, India Retailing reported.
