Shivan & Narresh holds runway show to launch new couture collection

Luxury brand Shivan & Narresh launched its latest couture collection ‘Couture Series III: Florists at Work’ on the runway with Glenmorangie Single Malt Whisky. The fashion show debuted 50 textured, floral-inspired looks for men and women. 

“Nature’s artistry has forever been our muse, and with Couture Series III: ‘Florists at Work,’ we pay homage to its timeless beauty,” said the brand’s head designer Shivan Bhatiya and creative director Narresh Kukreja in a press release. “This collection rewrites a love letter for our unwavering passion for the intricate details and vibrant colours found in the enchanting world of flowers. From childhood obsessions to meticulous design, we’ve crafted each piece as a canvas of nature’s artistry. Couture, for us, is the fusion of meticulous attention to detail and an explosion of colour and creativity. With ‘Florists at Work,’ we are thrilled to celebrate the delicate balance of form and colour that Mother Nature provides.”
 
The fashion show took place under a theatrical backdrop featuring three large floral installations which Shivan Bhatiya worked on live as part of the show. The collection was designed to push boundaries and use hand-embroidered details to bring botanicals to life in knitwear, fusion wear, and traditional wear.
