Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who made her screen debut in 1993 with Shah Rukh Khan‘s film Baazigar, is marking her 30th year in Bollywood. Her illustrious career has seen her in notable films such as Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Jaanwar, Dhadkan, Dus, Apne, and many more. Shilpa has also ventured into television, where she has served as a judge on various reality shows. Currently, Shilpa is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Sukhee, a slice-of-life comedy. The movie’s trailer has already been released and received praise from audiences.
In a recent interview, Shilpa reflected on her film and revealed that she believed her on-screen chemistry with Govinda was the best. She also expressed her desire to work with actors like Ranveer Singh and Kartik Aaryan from the current generation.

In a recent interview with Zoom, Shilpa Shetty shared that she believed she had the best on-screen chemistry with Govinda and revealed an interesting fact about her character in the film Sukhee, stating, “I think I shared the best on-screen chemistry with Govinda. I loved working with him. And in the film Sukhee, I am a big fan of Govinda!”
For the unversed, Shilpa and Govinda have shared the screen in films like Chhote Sarkar and Pardesi Babu.
Shilpa Shetty wants to work with Ranveer Singh, and Kartik Aaryan from current generation of actors
During the same conversation, on being asked if she would be interested in working with actors from the current generation, Shilpa Shetty responded, “They are all too young for me. But I’d love to work with Ranveer Singh. He’s an actor par excellence. And I love Kartik Aaryan. I think they all bring something different to the table and if it’s a role that would suit my personality, I’d love to do it.”
She also shared her admiration for her co-star Sidharth Malhotra in Rohit Shetty’s web series The Indian Police Force by saying, “I love the fact that Sidharth Malhotra is so non-filmy and that’s a very good quality.”
Shilpa’s film Sukhee boasts an ensemble cast that includes Kusha Kapila, Amit Sadh, Dilnaz Irani, and more. Directed by Sonal Joshi, the film is set to release in theaters on September 22
