Ethnic apparel retailer Sai Silks Kalamandir Ltd (SSKL) has strengthened its retail presence in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu with its 9th store in Mookandapalli, Hosur.
The new store will house a diverse range of products including premium sarees, lehengas along with men’s and children’s ethnic wear.
SSKL’s ethnic sarees include Banarasi, Patola, Kota, Paithani, Organza, Kuppadam, and Kancheepuram silk.
Commenting on the expansion, Prasad Chalavadi, managing director at SSKL in a statement said, “We are delighted to open 9th store in Tamil Nadu. This shows our commitment to Tamil Nadu for delivering much needed growth by expanding our presence in ever growing ethnic wear market in Tamil Nadu.”
“In order to support our growth strategy, we intend to further penetrate in Tamil Nadu like we did in Telangana, and we will build large warehousing facility as we open more stores to support our growth,” added Chalavadi.
Currently, Sai Silks has 60 stores across the country with a strong presence in south Indian markets of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
