Indian luxury apparel brand Rocky Star showcased a high-octane collection of glittering women’s occasion wear on the runway at the UK’s London Fashion Week. Actress and model Manushi Chiller joined the eponymous designer on stage to close the show as showstopper in a sleek black gown.
Rocky Star’s ‘Damned Soul ~An Eruption’ marked the designed debut at London Fashion Week and presented metallic opulence with a tailored twist. Models walked the runway in dramatic shoulder pads, plunging necklines, and head to toe sparkle.
“I’ve always viewed clothes as a tool of self-representation, a means for individuals to express their unique style and personality,” said brand founder and creative director Rocky Star in a press release. “’Damned Soul ~An Eruption’ is a manifestation of that philosophy. It embodies intensity, authenticity, and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship. I believe it will resonate with those who appreciate the power of fashion to make a statement, both inwardly and outwardly.”
The collection’s glamour was tempered with a focus on comfort. Bejewelled knits and looser gowns added options which were wearable far beyond the red carpet. “It’s a reinterpretation of couture for a new era, where glamour, abberation [sic] and comfort converge seamlessly creating an irresistible fashion synchronicity,” said Rocky Star.
