Luxury ethnic wear brand Ritu Kumar held a couture collection presentation at its store in Hyderabad with Reliance Brands Limited. The event welcomed guests, featured live music, and showcased the brand’s new festive designs.

Ritu Kumar’s latest collection festures classic festive glamour with the eponymous designer’s signature use of traditional craft techniques. Reliance Retail Ventures Limited acquired a 52% stake in Ritika Private Limited, the company behind the Ritu Kumar brand, in October 2021. Following the acquisition, Reliance Brands Limited has worked on expanding the label and launched the first ever active wear line for Label Ritu Kumar in 2022, among other developments.
Ritu Kumar is one of India’s oldest design houses and counts over 800 employees with over 50 stores spread across India. The label comprises three brands: ‘Ritu Kumar’, ‘Label Ritu Kumar’, and bridal couture line ‘Ri’.
