Reliance Trends opens new tech-enabled store in Surat

Fashion and lifestyle store Reliance Trends has opened a new multi-brand outlet in Surat to bolster its presence in Gujarat. The new store showcases Reliance Trends’ new brand identity and technological capabilities.

“Here we come unveiling the Trends new identity store,” wrote Reliance Retail’s chief manager of visual merchandise Sunita Dewangan on Linkedin. “A newer version of Trends which is more refreshing and tech-enabled store. Come and check out the latest in-store experience that we as a brand and company have to offer to everyone.”
 
By focusing on ameliorated technology, Reliance Trends aims to offer shoppers a more interactive experience to drive footfall offline. Upgrading its identity will also help the business to appeal to Gen Z shoppers. 

Reliance Trends retails from brick-and-mortar stores across India in cities including Jaipur, Indore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Varanasi, Hyderabad, and Vadodara among others. One of the retailer’s most recent openings is its store in Vaikom in Kerala, India Retailing reported. The store measures 11,099 square feet and opened its doors in April this year. 
 
Reliance Trends launched in 2007 as a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, which is part of Reliance Industries. The business retails both ethnic and western wear by a range of brands and also runs its own private labels including Avaasa, Frendz, Fig, and Rio among others.
