Retail giant Reliance Retail has opened two new stores for its recently launched value fashion brand Yousta. The stores are located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh and Edappal, Kerala and retail the brand’s full range of trend-focused western wear.
Yousta’s second brick-and-mortar store to date opened its doors in Bilaspur on September 16, announced Reliance Retail’s head of inventory management and merchandise planning for business-to-business Ramyaraj Rath in a Linkedin post. The store is the brand’s first in the state of Chhattisgarh.
On September 19, Yousta opened the doors to its third store in Kerala’s Edappal, Rath announced in a separate Linkedin post. “Yousta- store number three, God’s own country – Edappal, you absolute star,” wrote Rath.
Reliance Retail opened its first store for Yousta at the end of August in Hyderabad’s Sarath City Mall, the business announced in a press release shared on Facebook. The store opened with self check out counters, QR enabled information screens, complimentary wifi, and charging stations for devices.
After making its brick-and-mortar debut, Yousta announced that it plans to open between 200 and 250 physical stores to establish a strong retail presence across India. The brand is designed to compete with other large-scale, value-focused labels which are growing in number to tap into the growing demand for affordable branded apparel, especially in non-metro areas.
