Reliance launches first Yousta store in Surat

Reliance Retail has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Surat, located in Reliance Mall in the city’s Udhna district. The new outlet houses a wide array of men’s and women’s value fashion as well as accessories and lifestyle goods. 

Clothing in the new store is all prices below Rs 999, with many products priced below Rs 499, India Retailing reported. Bolstering its retail presence in the state of Gujarat, the store focuses on Gen Z shoppers with its trend driven apparel collections. 
 
At the end of January, Hess Construction shared a video on Facebook of the tech-enabled store being built in the mall. Reliance Mall in Surat houses a number of Reliance stores including fashion outlet Reliance Trends and electronics store Reliance Digital. 

Reliance Retail launched Yousta last summer and the label has since opened in locations including Bijapur, Mumbai, and Bilaspur among others. At the end of 2023, Yousta announced that it plans to open between 200 and 250 physical stores to establish a strong retail presence across India. The brand is designed to compete with other large-scale, value-focused labels which are growing in number in India to tap into the increasing demand for affordable branded apparel, especially in non-metro areas.
