Relan to collaborate with JJ Valaya for Lakme fashion Week

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL)-owned Relan Fabrics has partnered with couturier JJ Valaya to showcase a unique collection from his bridge-to-luxury brand JJV.Kapurthala at Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI.

This season’s collection from JJV Kapurthala called ‘Char’ (Four in Punjabi) has been created with Relan’s eco-conscious fabrics such as Greengold crafted from recycled PET bottles with innovative technologies such as Kooltex.

Commenting on the collaboration, Hemant Sharma, president polyester at RIL in a statement said, “RIL’s collaboration with JJ Valaya’s JJV Kapurthala exemplifies our commitment to nurturing the best talent while advancing sustainability and circularity in the textile and fashion industry.”

 JJ Valaya added, “It’s always a pleasure to work with exquisite fabrics whilst putting together a new line and of that fabric happens to be a champion of sustainability, then the journey becomes more special. Relan’s fabrics have lent themselves beautifully to our prints and cuts and through their versatility and diverse weights, have been highly adaptable to various silhouettes from our stable.”

Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI will be held from March 13 to 17 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
