Luxury clothing brand Raw Mango will travel to the US this May to hold exclusive collection showcases in four American cities: Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, and Austin. The events are designed to enable Raw Mango to connect with non-resident Indians and other local fans of the label.
From May 10 to 11, Raw Mango will showcase a number of its recent collections in Atlanta, the brand announced on Facebook. Raw Mango will then hold a shoppable showcase in Houston from May 17 to 18 then in Dallas on May 19. Finally, the label will travel to Austin for a pop-up on May 22. Individuals interested in attending the events can follow the contact details provided on Raw Mango’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
Amongst the collections which will feature in the pop-ups, Raw Mango’s summer 2024 collection ‘After the Flowers’ will make its US debut. The womenswear collection features handloom silk garments with rich hued floral prints and Raw Mango’s signature relaxed yet structured silhouettes.
Launched by designer Sanjay Garg in 2008, Raw Mango has been celebrating its 15th anniversary over the past year. “Back when I started, a sari was just not considered cool,” Raw Mango’s founder Sanjay Garg told Elle India on a recent virtual call. “Women who wore saris were considered behenjis (unsophisticated). That really provoked me. Our perception of India, luxury, fashion, textile and art needed to be rewritten. And I wanted to be that change maker.”
