Apparel brand Rare Rabbit’s parent company House of Rare has appointed Lavish Soni as its new chief business officer as the brand continues to expand its India footprint and product selection.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief business officer at The House of Rare,” wrote Soni in a Linkedin post. Soni has worked at House of Rare since 2016 when he joined the business as its head of retail and business development, India Retailing reported.
According to Soni’s Linkedin profile, his skills include trend forecasting, business operations, market research, and multi-channel retail among others. The executive has also worked for brands including Puma Sports and Mustard Clothing Company Limited among others.
Rare Rabbit launched in 2015 and is part of the House of Rare. The business is owned by Radhamani Textiles and also includes the brands Rareism and Articale. Each of House of Rare’s brands has a modern, relaxed style and is designed to appeal to millennial and Gen Z shoppers.
House of Rare is continuing to expand Rare Rabbit’s brick-and-mortar footprint across India and recently made its offline debut in Jammu, the brand announced on Facebook. Rare Rabbit also opened its second address in Vadodara and plans to continue to broaden its India customer base through making offline connections.
