Puma India signs cricketer Mohammed Shami as brand ambassador

Sports brand Puma has onboarded Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami as its brand ambassador for the Indian market.

Shami will endorse the brand in India alongside sportspersons like Virat Kohli, Sunil Chhetri, MC Mary Kom, Harmanpreet Kaur and Harleen Deol, Avani Lekhara among others.

Under this partnership, the Indian pace bowler will endorse the brand’s footwear, apparel and accessories through multiple campaigns and activities throughout the year.

Commenting on the appointment, Karthik Balagopalan, managing director at Puma India in a statement said, “We are delighted to support and welcome Shami into the Puma family which has been home to cricket icons Virat Kohli and Harmanpreet Kaur.
