Popees Baby Care, a leading baby care products retailer plans to expand its retail footprint in the Indian market by opening 42 stores during the financial year 2026.
The brand will also make its international debut by entering the Middle East with showrooms in the UAE at the Sahara Centre in Sharjah and Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi.
Popees started its domestic retail expansion with the launch of a new store in Ranni, Kerala. Going forward, it plans to open in key markets like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and major metro cities across the country.
Commenting on the expansion, Shaju Thomas, chairman Popees Group in a statement said, “We are delighted to expand our footprint in Kerala, signalling growing baby and childcare demand in the region. We have seen how the discerning consumer has matured and demands a quality product.”
“To cater to this, we are committed to delivering much needed growth by expanding our presence in the ever-growing baby care market. In alignment with our brand’s plans, we are on track to solidify our position as one of the largest national brands in the baby and childcare sector,” he added.
Popees product range includes clothing, toys, baby soap, body wash, shampoo, lotions, towels among others. It currently has 84 stores in the country.
