Planet Handcrafted launches as e-commerce platform for artisans

Planet Handicraft has launched as an e-commerce platform for artisans featuring goods sourced directly from the craftspeople who made them. The business’ founder Anirban Ghosh aims to advocate for indigenous arts and crafts by retailing handicrafts worldwide. 

“With a steadfast commitment to preserving endangered art forms, supporting generational indigenous artisans, promoting sustainable production and providing exceptional customer service, Planet Handcrafted is poised to redefine the landscape of shopping for fine, authentic handcrafted products for consumers with fine tastes and a penchant for refinement,” announced the new business in a press release. 
 
Planet Handcrafted retails art, home décor, accessories, textile products, and other handmade goods. The business also has a focus on sustainability both for the products it sources and the eco-friendly packaging and shipping practices it promotes. By retailing goods made with heritage craft practices, Planet Handcrafted aims to help preserve these crafts.
