Direct to customer personal care brand Pilgrim has announced Anirudh Likhite as its new vice president of supply chain and procurement and Nilesh Kambli as its senior vice president of customer experience as part of its plan to fuel its omni-channel growth.
“As we evolve, our commitment to customer-centricity deepens, leading us to make strategic decisions that enhance our brand’s promise,” said Pilgrim’s co-founder Gagandeep Makker, ET Retail reported. “Strengthening our leadership team is a reflection of this commitment.”
Kambli has over a decade of experience in Indian retail and has worked with brands including The Souled Store, HDFC Limited, and 91Springboard. Kambli has extensive knowledge in understanding customer preferences and rolling out streamlined operational strategies, according to Pilgrim.
Likhite has worked for beauty and personal care businesses including L’Oréal and Nykaa for over 13 years, ET Bureau reported. At Pilgrim, Likhite will help to lead its omni-channel growth strategy and deepen market penetration.
Gagandeep Makker and Anurag Kedia launched Pilgrim in 2019 and the brand retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store and brick-and-mortar stores across India. In April this year, Pilgrim announced Bollywood celebrity Yami Gautam as its first brand ambassador for its haircare range, the Financial Express reported.
