Papa Don’t Preach launches modest wear line in London, UK

Indian womenswear brand Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika has launched an exclusive modest wear collection at multi-brand South Asian fashion boutique Bibi London in the UK to offer a range of modest festive wear for Eid and beyond. 

“Papa Don’t Preach in London,” announced the brand on Facebook, sharing promotional images of its latest campaign, shot on the streets of the English capital city. “Shop our latest drop, The Modest Edit at Bibi London.”
 
Released in time for the festival of Eid, Papa Don’t Preach’s new collection translates its signature bold prints and eclectic embellishments into modest wear ensembles. Floor length gowns are paired with matching headscarves while oversized floral prints add drama and glamour to classic modest silhouettes. 

The collection also features a range of mini-sized handbags in metallic hues with 3D floral embellishments. The playful bags also feature statement chains, dangling, jewellery-like charms, and clips.
 
Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika was launched in 2010 and retails from its Mumbai flagship store as well as its direct to customer e-commerce store and with numerous multi-brand retailers. The label is known for its pastel and bright hued, fusion style lehengas, gowns, and embellished accessories. Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika has also eliminated size charts from its clothing labels in a bid to promote size inclusivity.
