Panerai opens new Mumbai timepiece store

Luxury watchmaker Panerai has opened a new boutique in Mumbai’s Jio World Plaza to bring its Swiss timepieces to the metro’s shoppers. The 60 square metre store houses the brand’s full timepiece collections for men and women. 

Panerai’s new boutique now has an address in Mumbai’s largest luxury mall, the brand announced in a press release on December 11. The store’s interior features marble-effect flooring, wood veneer, and metal grids to echo the aesthetics of Panerai’s watches. 
 
“Beginning from the exterior of the boutique, the Panerai logo, bold and distinct, synchronises with the expansive, transparent windows to foster a visual dialogue with the world outside, inviting passers to glimpse inside the Panerai world, igniting their curiosity and encouraging them to step into the Watchmaker’s world,” announced the brand in a press release. “Inside, the narrative continues with the iconic luminescent clock, retro illuminated to recall the Super-Luminova fluorescence, a shared feature in all Panerai watches. This fully operational timepiece, strategically placed for elevated visibility is an unmistakable nod to the brand’s DNA, underscoring the enduring theme of luminescence.”

Shoppers can browse watches from Panerai’s Luminor, Luminor Due, Radiomir, and Submersible collections. Panerai’s Submersible collection is inspired by the world of the sea, from which the brand takes its main inspiration. Shoppers can also savour a coffee at the exclusive in-store ‘Bar Italiano’ café.
