Sports wear and footwear brand Onitsuka Tiger has opened an exclusive brand outlet in Hyderabad. Located inside the city’s Inorbit Mall, the store launched with Onitsuka Tiger’s autumn/ winter collection.
“Hello Hyderabad,” announced Onitsuka Tiger on Facebook. “Inviting all to our new store at Hyderabad, Inorbit Mall, showcasing AW’23 collection.”
The store has an open façade with a large digital screen to showcase Onitsuka Tiger’s latest campaigns. Inside the outlet, the wall on the right side of the store is dedicated to sneakers with floor to ceiling shelves brimming with colourful options.
The left-hand side of the store features clothing such as graphic t-shirts with additional space dedicated to footwear. Large red benches provide seating areas for trying on footwear and a central transparent shelf displays yet more sneakers.
Onitsuka Tiger first entered the Indian market in 2017. The label began by by launching brick-and-mortar stores in Delhi and Mumbai then launched a dedicated e-commerce store for the country. The brand is known for its fashion-focused sportswear which mixes Japanese aesthetics with performance wear.
Sports footwear company Onitsuka Shōkai launched Onitsuka Tiger in Japan in 1949. The label is known for its fashion focused footwear and retails globally through offline and online sales channels.
