Nykaa, a beauty and lifestyle retailer has strengthened its retail presence with the launch of its 175th store in the Indian market at Bandra, Mumbai.
The store spread across an area of 2,500 sq ft houses a wide range of exclusive brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Urban Decay, Kay Beauty, Nykaa Cosmetics, The Ordinary, Kiehl’s, Murad, Dr. Barbara Sturm, and YSL Beauty among many others.
Commenting on the store launch, a Nykaa spokesperson in a statement said, “Each new store stands as a testament to our focus on redefining the art of retailing. Since our first store opened a decade ago, our retail footprint has proven to be a vital channel in democratizing access to beauty, especially internationally renowned brands, across India.”
“We are grateful for the continued support of our brand partners and customers, whose trust and loyalty inspire us to innovate to make shopping with Nykaa a delightful experience,” the spokesperson added.
Launched by entrepreneur Falguni Nayar in 2012, Nykaa today counts over 165 stores across India with formats including On Trend, Nykaa Luxe, and kiosks, according to its website.
The business is run by FSN E-Commerce Ventures which reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 16 crore ($2 million) in the thrid financial quarter which ended in December 2023.
