Ethnic and occasion wear brand Neeru’s has added to its brick-and-mortar store count in Andhra Pradesh and opened a new outlet in Rajahmundry. Located on JN Road, the new store measures an expansive 7,000 square feet.
“Adding another feather to the cap,” wrote Neerus Ensembles Private Limited’s managing director Avnish Kumar on Linkedin. “Neeru’s now at JN Road, Rajahmundry.”
The store is spread across three storeys and shoppers enter the space by walking across an 85 foot frontage to the building. Inside the store, Neeru’s offers a wide range of sarees, lehengas, and gowns for festive parties and special occasions.
The store also houses an array of bridal wear for the early winter wedding season including classic red sarees and lehengas and ivory options. Neeru’s specialises in womenswear but also retails men’s and children’s wear and the Rajahmundry store has dedicated segments for both with the aim of providing a one-stop-shop for family festive shopping needs.
Neeru’s is based in Hyderabad and was founded in 1971 by Basant Kaur and Harish Kumar, a mother and son entrepreneurial duo, according to its website. The first Neeru Emporium store opened in 1979 then the business established Neeru’s Textiles in 1983. The business now counts 52 exclusive brand outlets and retails from 49 multi-brand outlets, with its main retail presence located around Hyderabad.
