Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha has been assigned with the additional responsibility of leading the operations of Flipkart Fashion following the resignation of its fashion vertical head Arief Mohamad.
Despite the leadership change, Flipkart Fashion and Myntra will continue to operate as separate entities under Sinha’s guidance.
Sinha had joined Flipkart as associate director of the health and beauty vertical in 2013. Since, then she has gone up through various ranks within the company and was appointed as the CEO of Myntra in 2022.
Commenting on the elevation of Sinha, a Flipkart Group spokesperson in a statement said, “Nandita Sinha, CEO, Myntra will take additional responsibility of leading Flipkart Fashion alongside her current role at Myntra. A seasoned leader and group veteran, she has been instrumental in driving the growth of numerous businesses within the Flipkart ecosystem. Under her leadership, Myntra has solidified its position in the fashion industry, while also paving its path for the next phase of growth.”
Before joining the Flipkart Group, Nandita Sinha held various positions at Unilever and Britannia.
