US-based luxury clothing and accessories brand Michael Kors held Diwali parties across its India stores to showcase its festive designs. The events featured a range of celebrity guests and highlighted the brand’s commitment to the Indian market.
“RBL’s parties are nothing short of glamorous. And the festival of lights calls for a celebration equally as bright,” Reliance Brands Limited announced on Facebook. “The Diwali party hosted by Michael Kors at their stores in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and the grand Bollywood party with Lifestyle Asia was as bright as it gets! An evening dedicated to all things glitter and gold, their guests grooved in immaculate fusion dance music, along with the surreal works of the illusionist, Ashwam Tharthare had their guests in a thrall!”
The Diwali parties featured bright lights and lavish floral displays. The brand’s autumn/ winter collection features metallic handbags and party dresses and many attendees wore similarly sparkling attire.
In India, Michael Kors counts eight stores spread across New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, according to its website. The brand entered the Indian market in 2013 and opened its first brick-and-mortar store in the country in New Delhi’s DLF Emporio, Luxury Facts reported. Along with its brick-and-mortar locations, Michael Kors products are also available to purchase on numerous multi-brand e-commerce platforms in India including Ajio and Myntra.
