E-commerce platform Meesho has launched a campaign featuring actors Kapil Sharma and Pooja Hedge to promote its upcoming festive sale event ‘Mega Blockbuster Sale 2023’.

The campaign will be amplified through television and social media platforms. With this campaign, Meesho aims to provide its sellers with a wide customer base across the country during the festive season.

Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Nilesh Gupta, general manager growth at Meesho in a statement said, “As the season of Diwali approaches, people are eagerly awaiting festive sales which encompass the best deals of the year. Indian consumers are becoming increasingly tech-savvy and compare pricing across platforms before making a purchase. With the adorable and quirky duo of Kapil Sharma and Pooja Hegde, we are enlisting humour to build a strong rapport with the audience and create a sense of relatability.”

Last year Meesho reported 68 percent sales growth compared to the year before during the festive season five-day sale. The business shipped approximately 3.34 crore orders during the sale.
