Womenswear brand Meeami by Amit Bhardwaj presented a futuristic take on flamenco glamour on the runway for Season Two of Sheetal Gharana Ahmedabad Times Fashion Week.
“Get dazzled by the sheer brilliance of absolute shimmering creations by Meeami by Amit Bhardwaj,” announced Times Fashion Week on Facebook, sharing images of the runway show. The collection focused on occasion wear with a mixture of cocktail dresses and gowns. With a bright colour palette of reds, greens, purples, and blues mixed with black and neutrals, the collection was both playful and bold.
Notable looks from the collection included satin gowns with oversized ruffles and more streamlined dresses covered in sparkle. The show took place on day one of the fashion week which is running in Ahmedabad in association with Gujarat Tourism and Jade Blue.
Sheetal Gharana Ahmedabad Times Fashion Week features a range of designers from across Gujarat and beyond. For its second season, the event features designers including Amrin Khan, Jigya M, Sandhya Shah, Darshi Shah Bhavin Trivedi (DSBT), Seema Kalavadia, and Disha Vadgama among others.
Amit Bhardwaj launched Meeami Fashion in 2019 with the aim of creating an affordable luxury clothing line, according to its website. The brand has casual wear and occasion wear lines and retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store.
