Value accessories, homeware, and lifestyle retailer Market99 has opened its first brick-and-mortar store located on a high street in Dabolim, Goa. The store measures 2,000 square feet and is the business’ second store to date in Goa.
“We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of Market99’s newest store at Umiya Quatro, Dabolim, Goa,” announced the business on Facebook on August 1. “Come and explore our wide range of products at unbeatable prices. Don’t miss out on the shopping fiesta!”
The store has a brightly coloured interior with segments for clothing, health and beauty, home care, bathroom, bedroom, books and stationery, kitchen and dining, and toys and games among others. The store aims to offer a wide selection of goods for the family at affordable prices ranging from Rs 29 to Rs 99.
Market99 currently counts 64 stores located across India. The business plans to continue to expand across the country and open a further six stores by this coming September, the business’ director Omar Abdullah told India Retailing.
“This is our second store in Goa and our first stand-alone high street Market99 store in the whole chain,” Abdullah told India Retailing. “We are extremely excited to establish ourselves in this region and expand further.”
