Men’s occasion wear brand Manyavar has teamed up with Marvel to launch new Indian wear collection ‘Legendary Celebrations’. The limited edition line features details inspired by the Marvel universe.
“With great honour and pride, we announce our most unique collaboration with Marvel, that merges the worlds of fashion and fantasy and brings to you the Legendary Celebration,” said Vedant Fashions Limited’s chief marketing officer Vedant Modi in a press release. “Who knew comments on social media would prompt us to create such an inspiring collection with Marvel. Our Manyavar loyal community has been the driving force behind this collaboration, and we are proud to deliver a collection that fulfils their desire and shows our unwavering dedication to meet our customers’ aspirations.”
The collection is Manyavar’s first Marvel line and was inspired by Marvel Studios’ recent film Black Panther, which featured a number of Indo-Western style costumes. Marvel characters which feature in the collection include Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain America, and Thor.
“With this Marvel-inspired collection from Manyavar, we are very thrilled to have delivered what India asked for,” said Modi. “This collection is a progressive evolution of Indian wear for the leading generation of the world. This exciting collaboration with Marvel is a step forward in our mission to superpower celebrations.”
The collection has launched on Manyavar’s direct to customer e-commerce store and in select brick-and-mortar stores. The line is priced from Rs 2,999 to Rs 14,999. Manyavar is run by Vedant Fashions which also runs women’s occasion wear brand Mohey and heritage brand Mebaz.
