Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Limelight Diamonds will open a new store in Hyderabad on November 10. The brand has recently opened six new stores and plans to continue to expand its brick-and-mortar presence across India.
In addition to opening a new store in Hyderabad, Limelight Diamonds also plans to open at least nine more stores in India in the coming months, India Retailing reported. The business retails a wide selection of both occasion and everyday diamond jewellery, all made from lab-grown diamonds, and promotes lab-grown stones as both sustainable and fashionable.
“Limelight is now focusing on entering potential markets to create more awareness in abundance and educate customers on the environmental implications of their jewellery choices,” said Limelight Diamonds’ founder and managing director Pooja Sheth Madhavan, India Retailing reported.
The business is focused on raising awareness about the ethical and eco-friendly benefits of lab-grown diamonds. At a recent store opening with Bollywood celebrity Bhagyashree, the star and Pooja Sheth Madhavan told reporters about how Limelight Diamonds’ lab-grown technology caters to millennial shoppers’ values of sustainability, seen in a video posted by One India News on Facebook.
Limelight Diamonds has recently opened stores in Jaipur, Kalaghoda, Ghatkopar, Borivali, and Varanasi. The business has projected close to 60% year-on-year growth and is positive about festive sales.
