Fashion brand Libas plans to significantly increase its brick-and-mortar presence across India to reach more shoppers and build brand awareness. The label will open 300 exclusive brand outlets in India over the coming four years.
Libas estimates a capital expenditure of around Rs 1.3 crore for each of its upcoming exclusive brand outlets, ET Retail reported. The upcoming stores will have an average size of between 1,200 and 1,800 square feet to house the brand’s full apparel selection.
The label recently opened an exclusive brand outlet in Siliguri, Libas announced on Facebook. The new store is located on Sevoke Road and has a royal purple hued exterior, bright, open plan interior, and segments for both occasion and daily wear Indian garments.
Libas recently released its summer collection of shararas and kurta sets, the brand announced on Facebook. Bollywood celebrity Shilpa Shetty has promoted the collection on social media by dancing in a lemon yellow suit set. The brand has also curated a collection of pink ethnic wear sets to celebrate the launch of the ‘Barbie’ movie in cinemas.
Libas specialises in women’s ethnic wear and uses textiles including rayon, georgette, silk, crepe, and polyester among others. As well as its offline stores, the brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store and mobile shopping app, which ship worldwide, and is based in New Delhi.
