On July 28, women’s ethnic wear brand Libas launched its flagship sale event ‘Purple Days Sale’ to offer up to 70% discounts on clothing. The sale will run until August 4 and is designed to engage shoppers ahead of the upcoming festive season.
In addition to discounts on products, the sale event offers shoppers an additional 15% off to drive traffic and boost sales. “The ‘Purple Days Sale’ presents an irresistible opportunity for fashion enthusiasts to shop at unbeatable prices,” announced Libas in a press release on July 27. “So, make sure not to miss this golden opportunity and save the dates to catch the biggest sale of the year.”
Libas’ flagship sale covers everyday wear including cotton suits as well as a wide range of plus size garments. The sale also includes kurtas and bottoms, also with double digit discounts. The brand launched its sale on its direct to customer e-commerce store as well as in its brick-and-mortar stores across India.
Libas launched in 1985 as an ethnic fashion brand for the modern Indian woman. The label aims to create aspirational yet affordable clothing and tap into the unorganised market of ethnic apparel, which today still represents a significant growth opportunity.
