Luxury multi-brand children’s wear retailer Les Petits aims to create a one-stop shopping destination for children and is expanding both its product lines and its brick-and-mortar retail presence. Les Petits will focus on continuing to gain a foothold in East India and plans to open more stores in top-performing cities.
“We at Les Petits are focused on expanding the brand at a two-fold level,” said Les Petits’ president Swati Saraf in a press release on August 16. “Where we have diversified into a wide range of products to cater to the ever-evolving needs of the kids, we are on a journey to amplify our presence across the country as well. Along similar lines, we successfully launched our fourth store after receiving good traction from the South. We have also been getting good response from the East, for which we are trying to increase our foothold in the region with the recent Trunk Show in Kolkata.”
The business has seen increasing demand for luxury children’s wear from Tier 2 cities in addition to metros and expects this trend to continue. Les Petits also plans to forge strategic partnerships with other business-to-business retailers to expand its network.
Les Petits launched in 2011 and today offers over 24 premium children’s wear brands and has the exclusive rights to sell children’s collections of seven brands in India. Brands stocked by the retailer include Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Versace, Nuna, Moschino, Givenchy, Bloom, and Kenzo among others. The business has also introduced the labels Dwinguler and Leblon Delienne in India for the first time.
