Eyewear business Lenskart has launched a new curated product line named ‘Blue Billion Collective’ to celebrate the Cricket World Cup with a wide selection of blue frames to support team India.
The new eyewear collection is designed to appeal to a wide range of ages and style preferences to bring shoppers together through their love of cricket, Lenskart announced in a press release. The curated selection features frames by Vincent Chase, Lenskart Air, Boost, and Hooper, across eyeglasses, sunglasses, and sports glasses.
“Together, India is ready to celebrate the spirit of cricket and Lenskart aims to be there every step of the way, ensuring that fans not only see the world through their lenses but also witness the magic of cricket through the lens of enthusiasm and passion,” said Lenskart’s co-founder Ramneek Khurana in a press release.
Lenskart was established in 2010 and the business describes itself as, “India’s premier eyewear brand”. The business sells around 10 million eyewear pairs each year and has registered 40 million app downloads of its dedicated shopping app. Lenskart counts over 2,000 brick-and-mortar stores spread across India, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and the Middle East and uses facial analysis software to recommend glasses frames to shoppers.
Lenskart reported over 60% year-on-year growth in 2023, it announced in a press release. The business expects to see a further 50% year-on-year expansion in 2024.
