The specialist company in data analysis within the fashion, luxury, and beauty industries has solidified its team structure by appointing Margot Lasseigne to the newly created position of chief data officer (CDO).The executive, responsible for overseeing the company’s data-centric strategies since last September, has become the fourth woman on the executive leadership team, ensuring a balanced representation within the direction of Launchmetrics.

A graduate of HEC Paris, the company’s first female chief data officer became part of the team at Launchmetrics in 2017. Over the years, she has held various responsibilities within the product department and was appointed vice president of product in 2020. This role focuses on operations, customer success management, and product development and has been under her purview for almost four years, during which she has led a team of over 200 professionals.

Launchmetrics, born in 2016 from the merger of the French company Augure and the New York-based Fashion GPS, has highlighted Margot Lasseigne’s pivotal role in creating the company’s “Media Impact Value” algorithm. This contribution was key in her selection for this new responsibility. Her new position reflects the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technological solutions to the fashion, luxury, and beauty industries.

Currently, Launchmetrics is deeply invested in artificial intelligence development and operates with more than 450 employees across 12 markets worldwide, providing support in five languages. As a data and software provider, the company collaborates with internationally recognized brands, businesses, and institutions such as Tiffany’s, Vogue, KCD, Shiseido, The North Face, Levi’s, IMG, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana, and the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, among others.
