Global skincare brand Laneige has launched on multi-brand quick commerce platform Zepto to offer its products to shoppers in the majority of India’s metros for deliveries in just minutes and connect with new demographics.
“At Laneige, we are always seeking new and creative ways to make our premium skincare products more accessible,” said Amorepacific India’s country head Paul Lee in a press release. “Our collaboration with Zepto represents a thrilling advancement in this effort, allowing us to deliver the distinctive Laneige experience directly to our customers’ doorsteps faster than ever.”
The brand has been focusing on tapping into India’s fast quick commerce market and launched on Zepto’s competitor platform Blinkit at the end of January this year. Once focusing on groceries and essential goods, quick commerce customers are increasingly searching for fashion and beauty products from both Indian and international brands, presenting significant growth opportunities for brands in these sectors.
“As we continue to grow in India, this partnership highlights our dedication to offering both convenience and top-tier skincare solutions for today’s busy, on-the-move consumers,” said Lee. “We are excited to be part of this journey and eager to serve both our existing and new customers.”
Laneige made its retail debut in the Indian market in 2018 with multi-brand beauty giant Nykaa. The brand was founded by Amorepacific in 1994 in South Korea and its name is taken from the French ‘la neige’ meaning ‘the snow.’
