Kopa opens as shopping destination with 100 brands in Pune

Real estate investment business Lake Shore launched Kopa in Pune on October 21 as a 3.25 lakh square foot shopping centre. Located in the city’s Koregaon Park district, the shopping centre houses around 100 Indian and international fashion and lifestyle brands.

The mall’s anchor spaces are occupied by a range of premium brands including Michael Kors, West Elm, White Crow, Victoria’s Secret, Hugo Boss, Brooks Brothers, and Tumi, Lake Shore announced in a press release. These brands all available to Pune’s shoppers for the first time, according to Lake Shore. 
 
“We purchased this asset in 2019 with the aim of totally re-imagining what it could be and the intention to deliver an unparalleled shopping and dining experience for the Pune market,” said Lake Shore’s CEO and managing director Ashwin Puri in a press release. “Now that it is finished, we are confident that we have created a space that will enrich the urban experience for the entire community.”

Along with shopping, the mall also offers a range of food and beverage options at its extensive dining area. Featuring over 30 food and beverage brands in its food court, the mall also has a ‘Village’ outdoor bar and dining district which features two roof top lounges and seven restaurants. 
 
Lake Shore India Advisory Private Limited is a vertically integrated, real estate investment management business specialising in large-scale retail and retail-led mixed-use projects in large Indian cities. The business is based in Mumbai and has opened shopping destinations across four cities.
