Hari Krishna Group’s diamond jewellery brand Kisna has opened its first brick-and-mortar store to date in the state of Karnataka. Located at Regent Insignia in the Bengaluru district of Koramangala, the store launched with its new diamond jewellery collections for the festive season.
“Our goal is to make diamonds accessible to every woman in the country, and our expansion plans aim to reach every household across India,” said Kisna’s founder and managing director Ghanshyam Dholakia at the opening ceremony, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. “At the new showroom, we want consumers to experience the expertise of the Hari Krishna Group and provide them with a variety of diamond and gold jewellery options suitable for any occasion.”
The store retails both lightweight, everyday jewellery designs and heavier, bridal and occasion style pieces with traditional motifs. Hari Krishna Group launched Kisna in 2005 and the brand now counts over 3,500 showrooms across India.
“Launching our store in the state of Karnataka is our next step towards growth and expansion,” said Kisna’s director Parag Shah, the GJEPC reported. “Bangalore is known for its unique jewellery designs, and with the launch of the Kisna showroom, we aim to cater to local tastes and meet the growing demand in the state.”
