Kindlife raises $8 million in series A funding round

Beauty and wellness, platform Kindlife has raised $8 million (Rs 65 crore) in its series A funding round led by JB-Dooeun, TK Fund, and MIXI Global Investments. Kalaari Capital along other angel investors also participated in the funding round.

Earlier, Kindlife had secured $2.5 million in seed funding from Kalaari Capital, Titan Capital, Java Capital, and others.

Kindlife will utilise the funds to strengthen its distribution network and build a strong connection between Korea, Japan, and India.

Commenting on the funding, Radhika Ghai, co-founder of Kindlife in a statement said, “At Kindlife, we understand that Gen Z prioritises quality and authenticity, and we’re committed to making high-quality global beauty brands accessible to them, with a particular focus on premium Korean and Japanese beauty. Our strong AI technology is at the core of how we solve discovery and personalisation.”

Tomoharu Urabe, principal partner at MIXI Global Investments added, “Kindlife is creating a highly user-friendly ecommerce platform featuring AI-enabled discoverability and the built-in influencer community. The early metrics back up that the concept is working great. We’re thrilled to join the investment round and provide support to further expand its business.”

Founded in 2021 by Radhika Ghai, along with Vidit Jain and Manasa Garemella, Kindlife currently houses over 700 brands across categories on its platform with 25 percent international brands.
