Kalyan Jewellers to open three Bihar stores this month

Jewellery brand Kalyan Jewellers plans to launch three new exclusive brand outlets in Bihar this January in Hajipur, Buxar, and Purnia. The brand aims to boost its brick-and-mortar presence in the area and the launches will bring its state-wide total to 13. 

“We see tremendous potential in this market and we are committed to providing patrons with the best-in-class service-backed shopping experience,” said Kalyan Jewellers’ executive director Ramesh Kalyanaraman, the Press Trust of India reported. 
 
Kalyan Jewellers currently operates stores in Bihar in locations including Patna, Kishanganj, Arra, and Begusarai. The business is looking to India’s North, East, and West to expand its brick-and-mortar presence in Tier 2 and 3 cities to tap into the increasing demand for organised fine jewellery retailers in more rural locations. 

The brand is also looking to expand into metros across the country to respond to consumer demand, ET Bureau reported. Kalyan Jewellers aims to establish a physical retail presence in all Indian metros in the near future. 
 
Kalyan Jewellers also recently launched new women’s collection ‘Desert Ballad’, inspired by the hues of the desert, the brand announced on Facebook. The collection features statement chokers and bangles featuring intricate patterns and colourful stones. Kalyan Jewellers’ other new collection takes its inspiration from Pichwai paintings.
