Kalki opens flagship store in Surat with Tara Sutaria

Premium ethnic and wedding wear brand Kalki has opened its fifth flagship store in India and first in the city of Surat, Gujarat. Bollywood celebrity Tara Sutaria inaugurated the store which retails clothing and accessories for women, men, and children. 

“It feels like I’m back home being part of the grand opening of their Surat store,” said Tara Sutaria in a press release. “I’m honoured to reprise my role as their muse, following Noor Couture 2022. This store is an artistic masterpiece, transforming wedding shopping into an immersive experience. My ensemble, a meticulously handcrafted celestial gown, embodies the enchantment woven into Kalki’s craftsmanship. The delicate hand embroidery? It makes me feel like the epitome of grace and beauty.”
 
The store launch was Kalki’s third brick-and-mortar opening this year. Focusing on women’s traditional and bridal wear, the boutique houses a wide variety of sarees and lehengas. Sutaria attended the opening event in a dramatic glittering bralet and figure-hugging maxi skirt embellished with white feathers from the brand’s latest collection, now available in the store.
